I've had my new car for 6 weeks and I find the auto change very jerky: there is not a really smooth change up or down and sometimes it really feels as if the gears "drop" suddenly. It's worst when travelling in very slow moving traffic. The dealer says that the fast change is a feature, but I think it's awful. All of the ads and road tests say "silky smooth", but mine's nothing like that. Nothing like a BMW, Mercedes or even Ford
