Hello all, im new here and for all you LS400 owners and LS430 owners i can assure you that your money is well spent. My gut feeling is telling me that its the transmission but some input would be helpful. 1990 has 225,000 yes it's not a typo!! engine still purrs however i have recently noticed that once i get to 50mph and higher very heavy vibration occurs. Anything under 50mph no hesitation or vibration as long as overdrive is not turned on.
Im not sure wheter it the engine mounts or the actual tranny. Im still unsure whether it's worth the investment in a rebuilt tranny for a car over 10 years old and with 225,000. She has been good to me over the years.
Any input would be appreciated.
