Heater is turned on but no heat seems to come out. Only cold air. I checked all fuses and all is fine. Any advice? Thanks!

1994 LS400 I am having problems with the radio where there is no sound at all. The radio itself powers on fine but minus sound. No hiss or anything when volume turned to max. I checked all fuses in fuse location under driver side dash and also fuse location in engine fuse location. I am assuming it is the amp but where is the amp and how could I check if it is the amp. Please help! driving without any sound is ...painful!
