Ok cheers mate.... I've found a set of BC coilovers for for 650-ish... not 2 bad i suppose..... I know that the sport springs are a fortune, once you add a set of shox the price will prob not be far off that of the coilies.... As for the brake.... maybe Supra turbo??? just thinking out loud.... D.

Hi Everyone, I've not been on here in a while as I gave my Dad my 2000 'X' GS300 sport aero to use...... Now I have it back after 6 years and its a little... well, worse for wear.... (car maintenance is not high on my dads list!! lol) My plan is to spend a little on its and use it as my daily car again. It's now covered 148k miles and the engine is sweet as a nut.... so quiet you would think its just out the box. :-) The 20" alloys on it are for sale if anyone is interested, I'll get the rims refurbished first. A new set are due and the bits i'll mention below. I'm looking for a bit of help on the suspension side of things, does anone on here have, or know of someone selling a set of adjustable coilover suspension? (it badly needs shox and has SE springs on the front just now :-() Also, Is there a brake upgrade kit that will fit this model at a reasonable price? All help is much appreciated. Cheers, Davie.

ive just ordered 22" rims for my 2000 GS300 sport, has anyone on here done this before? im am interested on tyre size choice and any probs. davie.

Since my last post i've had a bit of a nightmare with fitting 20" Khan rsc's (merc fittment), so im sick of big rims now. Does anyone out there have a set of standard 18" sport wheels & tyres for sale??? Davie.

Does anyone know about gearbox servicing, as in what milage you should have it done, service intervals etc... my 2000 GS300 Sport has done 107k and was wondering if im better getting it done :)

When i first put the 20's on mine i noticed that it was a bit slower than with the standard 18's, my 20's are just cheap ones and they weigh a ton!!! hense why im changin them :)

my susp is standard!! its going 2 be interesting wheni lower it, especially now that i've seen a very nice set of trafficstar wheels from america that are 10"x20" on the rear!!! :)

The front tyres sometimes catch on the arch liner next to the bumper, mostly when reversing, the rear only rubs when you have people in the back and hit a dip on the motorway at speed but only very slightly. I havent removed any of the guards or touched the arches in any way. as for the tyres wearing evenly, no all 4 wear on the inside edge, had the tracking/alignment checked and its all spot on.

Stuff like ball joints and track rod ends wearing out rapidly, also im going through a lot of front pads, don't no if thats related to the big rims though? :)

if u click on ma profile theres a pic, all be it not a very good one!! the wheels are getting replaced asap, don't know what to get though, to go for full chrome again?? or something different, was considering going bigger!!! :D

this is my first time on this site, i currently have a GS300 Sport on 20" rims which i've had for about a year and a half, best car i've ever driven :)

I have a 2000 X GS300 sport and i'm currently running 8.5"x20" chrome rims with 245/35x20 on the front and 255/35x20 on the rear. just interested to see if there is anyone else on the site that is running a similar set up to see if they have experienced the same probs as me. also does antone run bigger rims as i was looking into 21's or 22's :)
