It is quite resistant against warming. I think because it has to stay there even in african summerheat. And I'm afraid that the windscreen may break due to thermal stresses if I try it with a hot air gun. Hoped that I could push it up or down or turn it; even with help of a tool (splint).

Hello, I 've got a 2006 IS250 without navigation. Now I want to incorporate a rear view camera system with LCD monitor in the rearview mirror. Does anybody know how to remove the serial mirror? For easier discrition I add a picture of the actual situation. Dieter
