  1. I pulled it out and parked it next to my neighbors '81 longbed with a 3" drop and Caddy wheels.
  2. Took it to the meeting tonight. Like driving a brand new truck. First ever tank of gas.
  3. Jammy, I'm sticking with the stock motor. Its rebuilt with some performance parts. And CA smog laws are very strict. Its hard to legally get away with a motor swap, more touble and money than its worth. Scarface, I have a bed to go out back. It still needs some work. I have to raise the bed floor, and shave a few things here and there, and do a tail light swap from a newer truck.
  4. Thanks. I can't drive it as low as you see it there. Its on the ground, so thats the parking brake. But I can drive it anywhere from 1" off the ground to 10" off the ground. Ride height is set at about 5 to 6 inches of ground clearance.
  5. Got the body on. I can clear them to turn no problem with the new front suspension. And I can tuck them hard too. The truck is about belly button height when its on the ground.
  6. So I'm putting my truck back together, finally got to a point where I could put wheels on it. I had some chrome RX330 wheels machined to fit my front hubs. Heres the frame on the ground with the wheels mounted. In about 2 weeks time we will be setting the cab back on and I will have pictures of the wheels tucked inside the fenders finally.
  7. Mounted. Now I just need to get my frame back so I have something to put them on.
  8. I wish I could get a cre cab Toyota over here. I'd have so much fun with one of those.
  9. They are actually just a standard chrome, the picture doesnt show it well. I think Lexus offers them in Silver, and polished. I ordered these from OE Wheels. I'm going to have them machined next week.
  10. Well I bought the wheels. I get them in a week, then I am going to have them machined. After that I will post some pictures of them on the truck.
  11. Thanks. It sounds like I won't really have any problems. As soon as I can sell the wheels/tires I have now I'll be buying a set. It will be a little while before I can post that picture, because my truck currently looks like this. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.
  12. The 4WD is a 6 lug, yes, but I have a 2WD truck. This is what they will go on. My bolt pattern is 5 on 114.3, and on an 18x7.5 wheel I need a +45 offset to fit like the wheels I have now. So if the information you provided is the correct backspacing for the RX300 or 330, then they should fit. My c/bore is 110 or so. This is what has to be machined on the Lexus wheels. I just really like the look of the stock 18x7 wheels. I just wanted some insurance that they would tuck inside my fenders before I went and spent money on a new set. Is the information you posted for that wheel? Or is it for that model in general. Either way, and 18x7 with that offset should fit just fine. Thank you.
  13. So no one knows? Or has the means to find out?
  14. I know how to measure backspacing. The problem is that I don't have the wheels to measure off of. I was hoping someone would know. I want to put them on my Toyota truck, and have the centers machined to fit my hub. I just need to know if they will fit.
  15. Can anyone tell me the offset of the 18x7 wheels that came on the RX300 and RX330? I can't seem to find the information anywhere.
