Hi, is it just the earlier models that have the combination suede/leather interior? Did they then go to full leather as you say from 2002 onward? Regards, Scott.

Thanks everyone. It doesnt look like there are major changes like different gear-boxes or anything. There's currently a lot of 2000 models in my price range, doesnt look like I'll miss out on too much by going with an earlier model. Cheers, Scott.

Thanks Craig. So does that mean the 2000 models wont have airbags? Edit: I just did a search and the 2000 models here in Australia have air bags at least.

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the differences are in the IS200 from 1999-2002? Are there any? Im going to buy a model in that year range, but was wondering if there were any fundamental upgrades from one year to the next. Thanks very much, Scott.
