  1. Spoke to the dealer and they said the disc will not work in my particular car. When I enquired as to what numbers on the disc would work in my car, they could not tell me - only the Lexus part number that I would need to order which was PZ485-L01EU-06 which I don't think appears anywhere on the actual disc, so it looks like I accept the current version of the disc in my car, or pay around £270 at a Lexus dealer!
  2. Did give the dealer the serial numbers on the new disc whilst I was there last Thursday, but they said that I need to take the disc in for them to verify as to whether it will work. As the car will be going back this Thursday (for Oxygen sensor to be replaced - at a cost of £289!) - I'll take the disc in with me. You are probably correct in that they should be the 'experts' on what will work or not though....... Thanks J
  3. In the interests of keeping the Sat Nav a little more up-to-date (and keeping the cost down) I have just purchased a (genuine) disc off ebay. The disc version says its 86271-60V542 and 86271-604012 2004-2005 Ver2 DVD for Europe. I currently have a factory fit DVD based system in my 2002 GS300SE. The problem I have is that the Nav system says it is unable to read the disc. The disc does have some scratches on it - is it a case that the laser is that sensitive, or is the disc just not compatible with my system? :duh:
