Thanks for that, i will have a search now and see what i come back with. The rattle is something that is putting me off at the moment, but if it is something that can be fixed then shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Hi Guys, Was hoping you guys can help me out, i am thinking of selling my IS200 SE but not sure what its worth. Its on a V(99) plate and has 64k on the clock, with FSH (not all lexus) Has MOT and tax and is in good condition all round. Has the Sport alloys, spoiler and rear tints, also the headlights have been upgraded to the HID version. Any info you guys can provide will be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance...

Hi all, I am in the process of looking for a IS220D, but not sure which trim. By the way is there a 200D? Can anyone tell me what the differences are between all the various trims? Is there a fact sheet or website that you can point me to please? Ideally i want the one with all the extra's such as cooling seats etc. Also i have heard a few negative things about the car, such as: Rattle from front of car Gearbox and gear stick Fuel consumption Are the above serious problems and is there anything else that maybe a fault. If there is any advice you guys can give for when i go to view some cars, checks etc, that will be really appriciated... Thank you all in advance!

Stick to the same colour as the car, the black one will only look good if you have other black 'bits' e.g. rims, bonnet design.

Hi Guys, Was about to purchase the HID conversion kit for my IS200 but from reading other posts it seems as though the biggest problem you encounter is where to place the ballasts, so can anyone suggest the best place to place the ballasts? Also can anyone suggest a good reliable place to purchase the kit from and what colour would you suggest, i am thinking of going for the 6000k bulbs. Thanks in advance

Hi Guys, I really want a black IS200 Sport but it looks like I may have more luck with an SE (Black Sports are rare) Was wondering what the main differences were between the SE and Sport? Does the body have any differences, is it me or does the Sport look more 'beefy' then the SE? Anyway any information that you can provide will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Hi all, my mate has just got himself a Blue IS200 and he wants to get some angel eyes. Both of us dont trust ourselves to install them, so was wondering if you knew of any place that would install them for us or even better if anyone has some fitted already for sale that have been colour coded black. What will we need to colour code the lights in terms of equipment, sorry but we are no good with things like this :( Thanks in advance....

lol I would love to be able to splash out on yours, but im starting a new business so need to be sensible in regards to the amount of money I spend :( I don't really have an amount in mind, maybe about 2k - 2.5k for a standard one (mileage not an issue) and more for one with mods, how much more would depend on mods and how much I am tempted :)

Was wondering if anyone had a Black IS200 Sport that they may want to sell, I am not fussed about age or mileage as long as it has been maintained. I recently crashed my Sport and the insurance didn't pay out too well :( But really want another one as it is by far the best car I have ever owned. The car was last serviced at 102K, when the cambelt was changed. Apart from the last service the rest have all been carried out by lexus, but on the last one, due to the cost i bought all the parts from lexus and got the work done at a local garage. I would ideally like to avoid getting it serviced from the dealer if possible, thats why i wanted to know about what is essential at this service.

Hi I have just called my local lexus dealer and asked for a service price. I own a 99 Sport model which has done 112K. The lady gave me a price of £339 including some sort of discount, the service would include, changing all filters, changing oil, diff oil, and all fluids. The questions i had are: Does the diff oil need to be changed or toped up, and what are the consequences of not changing or topping this up? Can all the fluids just be topped up rather then changed? Is there any particular oil that should be used, what would be the best brand of oil to use? Thanks in advance.....

Hi, I was thinking about lowering my Sport (99) by 40mm. The thing is i dont want to loose my ride comfort as this is one of the main things that i like about the car, is there any springs out there that will enable me to get the car lowered without loosing the ride comfort, also would it be a good idea to replace the shocks at the same time. How much would i be looking at for the springs and the shocks, any names and prices will be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.....

Hi all I been looking for a front bumper lip for my 2000 is200 but cant seem to fine one anywhere, just want the standard one that matches the side skirts and back lip, has anyone got any ideas of where i can get one from? also i want a sports or TDM grill but everywhere im loooking im getting stupid prices, any recomendations please. And finally im thinking of lowering the car can anyone reccommend any springs that wont make the car loose its comfort and smooth ride, also whats the best drop for an is200, 40mm??? HI everyone, ive just purchased some new white bulbs for my is200 as i have only recently bought the car i dont know how to change the bulbs, i have the main beam, dipped headlights, sidelights and fog lights, i need to change the bulbs for all of them so if anyone has got any pointers il really appriciate it.
