Goodwill-Hunting

(I'm sorry if this is already posted somewhere, I searched but couldnt find anything.) Could people please list the garage, town and county that you'd recommend and why (e.g. maybe you've had mods done there or you know they service/repair toyoyta imports)? I am particularly intersted in Altezza mods and repairs in West Midlands area, but it'd be useful to list wherever and whatever you use for the benefit of everyone else. Thanks very much! Al

Excuse me if i've posted this in the wrong place but i was hoping someone would be able to recommend a good garage/mechanic in the Birmingham area. I am ordering a 'fit kit' from lexus and would like it installed by a reputable garage/mech - also looking for future modification buying and installation and for someone to service my rs200 Altezza. Dont' mind if they're more expensive, if they are worth it! Thanks very much in advance. Al

Can someone point me towards somewhere i can buy toyota anitfreeze coolant (the red one) on the internet or that will send to birmingham...i've been looking for ages and can't find it anywhere on the net. and i cant seem to buy it from toyota direct online?

Wow, superb diagnosis, yes i get both those things, what do you think then? air in the heating matrix? how would i go about fixing that, any suggestions?

Hi everyone, thanks in advance for any help... I recently bought an altezza but am having a problem with the heating. When i (cold) start the car heater begins to heat the car up (i.e. warm air is coming through the vents). However, once i engage the gears and start driving a bit the heating goes cold and i don't get any heat through teh vents, just cold air. If i get onto the highway (vroom vroom) and go 70'ish heat starts to come through the vents again instead of coldness. if i'm city driving the heat basically never comes on (even if i try to rev it up high at every opportunity!). Secondly, as i just bought it are there any suggestions on what i should check/replace/tune etc and any good garages that have experience with altezza's and/or modding etc. in the birmingham area? (SouthWest is preferable). Thanks for any help, Al p.s. i know little about cars/engines etc (but i'm trying to learn) so please explain in full any advice...thanks!!!
