  2. lexuspartsdirect quote Grand Total £26.32 Should I go for these for my 02 GS300 or would cheaper options on ebay be acceptable? Thanks for your input SD
  3. Thanks again for all advice I've reserved one from Lexus Bham at £63.62 inc vat Halfords website quotes in the £90ies SD
  4. My battery came from Lexus Leeds- it came with a Toyota sticker. I think you'll find that nearly all the parts you buy from Lexus will come with Toyota stickers/packaging.
  5. Morning Guys I do not have cause to request assistance and advice for my fantastic 02 GS300 very often. Admittedly I do not have a high annual mileage. When I do drive it, it is a joy. The most recent work was to have the wheels aligned by Lexus Birmingham which whilst expensive, did the trick. It runs smooth. My battery is not holding a charge. Does anyone know the best place for a replacement near Alvechurch / Redditch / South Birmingham / West Midlands? Thanks Guys SD
  6. Thanks for the advice Guys I won't be going there again without checking here first They did provide me with a Beissbarth ML4000 Wheel Alignment printout for Front and Rear axles, left and right. Invoice reads as follows Remove and replace oxygen sensor 37.40 Conduct Geometry&adjust as required 84.24 Replace 1 front tyre Bridgestonbe 235 45 R17 107.81 Oxygen sensor 142.02 Courtesy car foc Wash car foc Net 371.47 VAT 65.01 Total 436.48 Cheers Speedy
  7. Hello Ladies and Gentlemen GS300 SE June 2002 02 52500 - owned since October 2006 lovely driving. Only issue excessive outside tyre wear on front tyres. The 'engine' warning light came on last week, so I obediently booked in with Lexus Birmingham who explained it would probably be the oxygen sensor and advised the cost. Whilst there they noticed the tyre wear and offered a full geometry test, but would need new tyre first, so agreed and went ahead. Drives better now! Cannot fault Lexus service (IS250 to drive home - noticed the reversing camera, so I reversed there and back all 32 miles - don't tell them will you) except you know what! £436.48! Tyre came in at £107.81 which was not as bad as I thought (she forgot to mention the VAT on top!) Where did I go wrong? How could I improve next time? Thanks and all the best Speedy
  8. Did you sort out what it was? My 4 year old GS300 is doing exactly the same. I've booked for Lexus Bham to look it over for £47.00 odd!
