Yeah I did that the other day, hasn't made a difference!!!

this might sound silly but i thought mine had failed the day. double check all your doors + the boot is/are properly shut - otherwise it wont lock , make a noise or anythin took me 10 mins to realise my boot was'nt quite shut. and thus my car locked when i shut it : ) thanks, thats the first thing that i did do actually was check all the doors and it took me quite a while as well and after doing that it did actually lock the way it should. But this problems seem to be getting more frequent and I am beginning to look like a nutcase walking round my car opening and shutting the doors several times each time I need to lock my car Lol any more advice......

I have a Lexus IS200 2001(X reg) when I lock the car with the remote I usually hear two locking noises as well as the hazard light flash once, but now I am only getting one locking noise and no flashing of the hazard lights. Why is this? has anyone had the similar problem? Any advice would be appreciated......
