sorry that you guys had to decipher my prob- i have a 94 gs300. when i turn on the radio/cd or tape deck, i get this continous choppy noise while a cd plays or when the radio is on. this same thing happened about 3yrs ago i took it to the dealer- said it was the amp cost me 600.00 to fix, i dont want to to pay again i was hoping you guys could help yes everything lights up, you can advance tracks,etc etc. thanks again smokedog

i 'm a newbie thought someone could help me. my radio just started making this choppy sound while it is on this happened about four years ago the dealer charged me 600.00 said it was the amp- where is the amp located ,could it be a fuse, however; i am still getting power. i cant live without my radio as someone once said! i appreciate any info thanks, smokedog
