I had the same problem with mine and had constant complaints from other people. I phoned Lexus B'ham using the Bluetooth kit and they immediately called the car in and replaced the complete system and it works perfectly now .

I'm very happy with my £40K Bluetooth handsfree device aka RX400h - the only real issue is the sound quality reported by people at the other end of any phone call. Although I can here callers very clearly in the car, anyone I'm speaking to complains that I sound like a dalek and they can only hear every other word.

Before I start trying lots of other handsets (mine is an O2 XDA Mini S) is this a generally problem?

are there any shiny bodywork bits and bobs available for the RX ??

Watch those silicon blades...whilst they work really well i managed to pick a tiny piece of grit out of a gutter and put a 12 inch scratch into my black pearl paint which just wont polish out !!

Is that a good thing? Being able to lean forward whilst driving and enter a new destination?

Oh that ad as well, the new Elantra looks like the new IS :)

Will be handy if you can enter a previous destination on the move.

That's the override menu I referred to.

However it's not available on the latest firmware version, hence the splice.

do you have a copy of the spliced programme ?
