Anybody know

I really don't want to go the whole hog but am i looking at an aftermarket unit/double din fascia/loom etc etc just to get a decent sound out of an idrive

Hi guys I'm a new member and wondered if anyone can help. I have a 1999 is200 with factory audio unit I have the Harmon Kardon idrive unit connected via the aerial connection at the rear using the FM modulator. sound quality is poor, is there anyway I can make use of the idrive's line out connection to the rear of the factory unit.
