  1. Well I fixed it myself, i think?? I re-fastened all the cables to the CD changer and the cables to the AMP in the back left hand side. Hey presto!! It works everytime now. But I still have a sneaky feeling its going to come back and haunt me. As they say, I haven't found true root cause for the problem yet.
  2. Greetings Fellow Lexus owners!!! I have a problem with my 1993 LS400 CD changer/player. You all know the 'CD' button on the dash, right? Well 70% of the time I push that button, the CD player won't come on. The 30% of the time that it does come on it will play for hours and hours without skipping or any other issues....until I turn it off and turn it back on again. It is then that the CD will not come to life. It is like it has a mind of its own and I am beginning to think the car is haunted. For example, when I really want to listen to my CDs, like on a Saturday night when I'm heading out for a few cocktails and such, CD is dead -no life- nada- nothing. Yet on a Monday morning when I am heading to work, it comes on first thing...IS my CD changer/player haunted or is there a more logical explanation.... I appreciate any responses.. Thanks Enda ;) ;) ;)
