Diagnosis is that i need a new starter. $600 bucks at the dealer. They say the intake manifold has to come off?? I've worked on lots of cars, but never heard of this. Has anyone replaced a starter before? Can it be done by a fairly handy man. Without specialty tools?? Please Help. I don't have an extra $600. Thanks. oh yeah. 1997 LS 400 Coach Edtion.
