Hello all, Hoping someone can help! I have tried all regions of DVD's in the rear players for the kids. All play fine until you reach the title page where they refuse to play. I have re-set to factory tried almost every region DVD but the same problem (error in the top left) occurs on every one. I don't think it's the driver as they play through AUX connection. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thank you in advance to all,

The replacement bulbs are correct but not from Lexus, my first time of trying this but as the old bulbs kept dropping out whilst driving or idle it would make sense that is would be the control unit. Since the new bulbs have been fitted, I turn them on walk round round to the front of the car to watch the offside turn off then the near side everytime. I think that it points towards the control unit which costs £228.09 each from Lexus. As I understand it is fairly straight forward to take the lights out which I will do to check the control unit. Looking around I have found several diagrams of the headlamp unit but none seem to include the control unit which sits underneath I think?!

Thank you, It could well be the new bulbs. The old ones worked but I towards the end of their life I had to start turning them on an off quite a few times as each side kept droping out.

Hello All, I have read through quite a few pages of the other forums which are all very helpful so I'm hoping other owners may of experienced the same problem as me. I have a 2005 GS300 which I recently put in new Xenon bulbs which were very expensive! Lexus Southampton have now informed me that the headlamp control unit (8117-30D300) has failed on both sides. I have found a site in the US which sells the pair for around £100 but I am not sure they are the correct item. I am happy to take the lights out to check the control unit but would like to know if anyone can point me in the direction of a diagram showing where the headlamp control unit is. I think they are under the light unit but any help on any of the above greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Sean
