is there any way to reset throttle body on ISF

Its because of the way the power comes. The NA engines have always had very linear acceleration whereas the S4 you mention has a lot of torque down low which makes it feel faster.
Its the torque that youre feeling. A similiar reason to why any electric car feels rapid despite what their 0-60mph time is
I guess that makes sense. i'll look into apexi as well. thanks

I dont think it has restrictor but again how would i find out ? I guess i should take it to rolling road for some power prints.
also I was wondering if there is a way to reset gearbox / ECU / throttle to make it re learn new driving style ?

Hi All,
I have had LS430, GS430, GS300, IS200 and 250 in past. I always wanted ISF and last I managed to import one myself from Japan.
Landed about 2 months ago. Pics below. It has done 98k KM which is about 60k miles. For the last 2 years I am driving S4 3.0 supercharged.
I dont know if its just me or my expectations were sky high. I find my S4 has more poke and goes like rocket where as ISF feels slow. I feel ISF is lacking poke and doesnt push you against your seat. Feels like its lacking power in early gears and then power kicks in at over 5k rpm in 3rd and onward gears but by then Ford fiesta is miles away lol
ISF just doesnt feel FAST FAST just no punch.
I hope it grows on me
Thanks

Hi All.
Just wondering if ISF shares same parts used in IS250.
like wheel bearing / wheel hub ?
Can i fit IS250 wheel hub in ISF ?
I have imported ISF from Japan. Also I want wondering if i fit IS250 sat nav headunit to ISF will it work and and will it work in english language.
Thanks

It looks like you remove the 2 recessed screws at the top of the surround then pull the bottom which is clipped in, be gentle as replacement is around £140.00!
Once the front bezel is loose disconnect any wiring to it and remove, there are normally 4 instrument cluster retaining bolts usually 10mm which should release the cluster enough to get the electrical connectors out.
I would normally suggest disconnecting the battery before doing anything like this but being a hybrid things may be different.
I don’t think there is any legal requirement to change to MPH, the mileage on mine has been stated in KMs a few times on the MOT even though it was converted at import.
Thanks alot

found this. now i just need to figure out how to take cluster out.

Hi All,
I just bought LS600h from Ireland and every thing is in KMH.
My speedo is in KMH only and no MPH ( see pic please )
Lexus says I need complete new cluster / dash and programming. Is this true ?
other option I have in mind is to take cluster apart and just fit MPH stickers.
Any one know how to take cluster / dash out ?
Thanks

all bits are solid and tight so i think it must be shocky 😞
-
Hi All,
my 600h when going over bumps makes fast knocking noise. Mechanic checked and all arms etc seem tight.
When i push it down i noticed left side is more bouncy than right side.
so I guess shock is away and this is what causing knocking noise ?
Thanks

Hi All
just wondering if LS600HL has same body as LS460 ?
Basically I am after wind deflectors and roof spoiler for my LS600HL but cant find any, but I can find many for LS460 so just wondering if 460 stuff would fit 600HL ?
Thanks

Hi All.
I adopted this iQ yesterday. I thought going to Asda, school runs and city driving some times I don’t fancy taking big LS and then have to find big parking space to park my LS.
So for little tasks I bought this wee fella. This wee boy will do short runs whilst big grand paa is having some rest smoking pipe 🙂

I have done this so far.
20” wheels
cat back exhaust with 4” chrome tips
tints 35% back and 50 fronts
carbon roof spoiler
wind deflectors heko
chrome stickers on side window LS430
8000k hid bulbs
LED side lights
LED interior lights
LED long strip brake light like Bentley
third brake light bulb replaced with small red LED strip
private plate which means nothing but hides age of car
risen 3D carbon gel plate which gives glossy shine
Thats all for now.
Next in list is to paint callipers.

Hi thanks for the reply. Those look very nice indeed! The one thing I noticed about the facelifts is the stock xenons aren't ice blue like those of the non facelifts, but you have the best look now imo. Was it difficult to swap the bulbs? Am not practically minded when it comes to that area lol
Alex
cheers. TBH it was not that hard, just clips and connector itself. Only slight problem was tight space and not enough room to see or twist your hand. I got my son to hold small mirror while I was changing bulb looking in mirror 🙂
I also have full spare headlight at home if you want me to take some pictures. I have few just now, leme share them.

my hand brake / foot brake padle is bit dodgy. I have to put my foot behind it and pull it to turn light off.
so when i release brake, light stays on but i put foot behind it and pull padle up and light goes off.

I can confirm LS430 does have flat headlight pattern.
left horizontal line is slightly above right horizontal line.
