This is where i got my rings from. I have yet to find " HID look halogen" bulbs anywhere and i've tried a lot of different brands, including a few different Philips bluevision and hi vision ones. There is a HID kit you can get that does both the Hi and dipped beams not sure where u can get it. If not you can get a HID set for both Hi and dipped beam. Rings are easy to fit once you get the headlights apart. They are wired into where the sidelight used to be plugged into. i think HID's in the fogs are illegal i just looked at that kit, didnt know if it was any good or not but ill probally get them iif thats what they look like judging by your pic. do you loose your sidelights in return for the halo rings? ive got a set of blue leds and i think they would look really good with the halo ringsif not ill just remove the leds, no loss. i think hids in the fogs are ok, if not ill still get them and as for the full beam ill get a hid kit to match the other lights all at 10000k. i best go raid the piggy bank and check down the back of the sofa for some loose change lol

Heres a look at what i did to mine: Just waiting to get my eyebrows painted so i can stick them on to cover up the to top the lights so you cant see the gap in light from the halo rings im definatley gonna get that done, ive just had a look on the net for some and they look mad in the dark. where did you get yours from? and how much where they? im gonna get a 10000k hid bulb to upgrade my standard hids, get a 10000k hid kit for the fogs, replace the full beam with a hid look halogen and definatley get some halo rings. if anyones doe this set up,or similar, can you post some pics in the dark so i can see what the look like, cheers IRLRs200- are the halo rings hard to fit and how are they wired up?

how good do these look how to do has any one done this or anything simillar

i know they will put more light on the road but i want to upgrade the bulb so that it has a more blueish tint to it. im still undecided about the full beams, i want them for the effect but are they goin to be pratical. i'm definately going to get the fogs, ill only use them when needed. does anyone know whats the best halogen bulb to get to match the hids? needs to be around the 8000K value, but im now thinking of going for the 10000k bulbs

these are the bulb types for my 04 is200 limited edition, dont know if its any different for older or different models, hope it helps interior light central dome - 31mm festoon interior light map light - ba9s sunvisor mirror light - 198 fuse bulb (cant find any though) door lights - 501 aceparts should do all the bulbs in red, blue, green and white apart from 198 fuse bulb

i think they are a 198 fuse bulb, ive search everywhere for them and cant find any, if you can get some ill definatley be interested, cheers

i might get the fogs done then and use the hid look bulb ive got for the full beams for the time being, the hid look bulbs ive got look like standard halogen bulbs next to the hids though, but is it worth the money for a quick flash of your lights. something ill have a little think about aido- ive been informed by someone at hids-direct that its only a myth that it causes damage to the bulb. i dont know if hes having me on or not. so if anyones got any other opinions on it, let us know please

thanks for the info about the bulb value,ill definatley get the 8000k bulbs ive just look at the hid h4-3 kit and was wondering if these will fit. i would modify the wiring (so ive got two low beam feeds) and keep my current hid in the low beam but upgrade the bulb to 8000k and put the h4-3 kit in the full beam socket so it would give a dual low beam effect, and ill be able to have full beam hids. i could even put in some resistors to reduce the power on the second low beam feed so its not as bright. dont know if it would work but i think it would look good ive just checked what type bulb i need and its a hb3 not a h3, my mistake, so this isnt gonna work. i know you hardly use your full beam but it still will look better than the standard yellow when you do use them.

You dont need a conversion kit you just need bulbs i need a conversion kit for the fog and main beamas the bulb types are h3 and hb3, the low beam is already a hid, but i dont know what value it is

ive got standard hids on my limited editon is200 but i dont know what value they are, does anyone know? i'm looking to upgrade the bulbs aswell as a conversion kit for the main beam and fog lights to 8000k ive seen these on the net cheap hids but they are only 6000k and i want 8000k has anyone got any pics of both values so i could compare what they look like? if the 6000k are not what im after i can get the bulbs to upgrade to 8000k and both kits for £250, so either way ill be happy but id rather pay £95 ($190) for the 6000k kits cheers guys...

thanks for everyones replys has anyone change the bulbs in the sunvisor, it looks like a household fuse but its not its a bulb, i cant find any anywhere, ive tried putting a 31mm festoon in but it dont fit properly, any ideas? im gonna sort the number plate out, i must admit it looks crap and it isnt worth the hassle of getting pulled by pc plod ive been thinking of upgrading my standard HID bulb to 8000k,don know what value it is at the moment but its not that blue, (im thinking 4500k) and get matching HID's for the main beam and fog light. Does anyone know what ones are the best, ive seen some cheap ones from japan and america on fleabay but i need some advice as im not to sure on what im looking at. i dont want to spend a fortune, i could probally stretch to £300 for the lot (h3 kit, hb3 kit and d2r bulbs, all 8000k) funds are low at the moment, i might have to look down the back of the sofa for some more pennies.

maybe i have gone over the top, agree with the number plates, could be better. i didnt know they were illegal anyway, i only put them in yesterday as i had a spare set, i took the pics last night, so i couldnt be bothered to change them back. could i use these for the number plate click here are blue reversing lights illegall, coz ive seen afew pics of cars with them on and ive already ordered the bulbs, hope they are ok? what sort of set up has everyone else got? i do like the look of the blue interior bulbs, i think they look good as they are not used all the time,only getting in and out of the car, im not gonna be driving around at night looking like a smurf. i might look into getting a better quality bulb to get a better result

I KNOW ITS SIMPLE BUT YET VERY EFFECTIVE, HOPE YOU LIKE SIDELIGHTS- 501 9XBLUE LED CLOSE UP REAR NUMBER PLATE- 501 4XBLUE LED CENTRAL DOME- 31MM FESTOON 9XBLUE LED MAP LIGHT- BAS9 4XBLUE LED I ALSO HAVE THE BULBS FOR THE SUNVISOR LIGHT AND DOOR LIGHTS BUT THE SUNVISOR BULBS ARE TO BIG, GOT SOME NEW ONES ON ORDER, AND IM WAITING ON THE CLEAR DOOR LENS, I WAS THINKING OF GETTING THESE TO FIT CLICKY IVE ALSO GOT SOME BLUE LED BULBS ON ORDER FOR THE REVERSING LIGHT AND THE BOOT LIGHT I DEFINATLEY WANT THE DIALS, SWITCHES AND CONTROLS IN BLUE NOW ILL GET SOME MORE PICS UP WHEN DONE NEXT MODS- MOTORISED DVD SCREEN, SPOILER, SPORTS GRILL, BLUE DIALS

just emailed them hopefully they will, i really want them, if not i might try to modify a light with a clear lens and get it to fit, i cant be doing with the red lens, each time i get in the car i get annoyed about them. its a case of i want but i cant have. lol ill get some pics up soon when done cheers guys

ive read that post, thats what got me wanting it so much. i think it only does the mirrors and not the windows and sunroof. the kit ive seen on fleabay does mirrors and windows but not the sunroof if anyone knows how to do the sunroof, i could combine their kit and the one of fleabay and ill be as happy as can be :D :D :D :D :D

Yes buddy. Go to www.lextasy.com and they're on there under 'IS300 lighting'. $45 for a set of 2 from USA. Pricey I think but they look good, particularly with blue LED's. Keith ive looked on there but they dont post outside of the usa. i reelly want them as it will be my first of many mods and i think it wont look any good with a blue interior and red lights on the door. ive searched the whole net and cant find any

has anyone be able to do a complete auto closure of windows mirrors and sunroof when the car is locked, ive found this kit CLICK but it doesnt do the sunroof, so i was wondering if anyone has managed it. i know its been posted on here before but they are all old posts, so i was after some up to date info. much appreciated for any help

ive ordered the bulbs for the map and door lights, but i need to get some clear lenses for the door. does anyone know where i can get these from?

i know its already been discussed before but i cant find the posts, im after a complete conversion of all the interior lights, dials, controls, evertyhing that lights up inside the car basically. i dont know whether to go for blue or red. ill also need them to be fitted as i dont want to start taking the car apart myself any help and suggestions will be much appreciated

i love this car so much, i brought it after test driving it the day i saw it. just been cruising round town yesterday. hopefully take it for a good drive today. just my luck. parked it on the drive when i got home and within half an hour a bird with diarrhea left its mark all over my car. bloody typical a few things i want to ask- 1-how do i post some pics, do i use the registry feature? i tried but it said im not authorised. 2-where can i get some fog light, side light , low beam and parking light bulbs to match the main headlights from? the ones that look blue and are really bright. i got some of ebay for my 306 but they were really crap, didnt look good at all 3-ive got a motorised dvd player with screen i want to fit but all the facia adapters ive seen will make the screen cover the climate controls, any advice? was thinking of getting a double din screen with built in sat nav fitted if not. 4-how annoying is the reversing buzzer? i feel like a lorry.can it be disconnected 5-when i lock my car theres no bleep to tell me its locked. how do i sort this out if possible. really paronoid that i havent locked it. i know theese have probally been posted on the forum before but to be honest i would rather be in the is200 than sitting on the computer much appreciated for ay help

hello everyone, i pick up my 04 is200 limited edition on saturday and was wondering what is the best petrol additive to use to help the fuel consumption. also what is the best petrol to use, supermarket cheap and chearful or branded mean and nasty. does resetting the ecu help aswell? cheers
