I wouldn't say smug exactly but I must admit it's the first time I've been able to walk into a garage and say "right this is what wrong and this is what I want done". Did walk about with a smile for the day :D

Guys, Bought a IS200 X reg a few weeks ago, while driving from Glasgow home to Aberdeen the steering wheel started to shake (basically one of the breaks was binding on). I had been reading some of the posts on the forums before buying so thought I knew what it was. I put the car into Lexus who diagnosed it as a faulty caliper and wanted £425 to replace it. Not a hope thought I so I booked it into my local garage explaining that I thought it was the slider that was sticking (basically what I read on here) and could they fix it. 2 hours later I get the car back, breaks freed, no new caliper needed. Cost £60. I wanted to say a thank you to all the guys who posted topics about the breaks, you have basically saved me around £360. Thanks again.
