anyway, I am only 21..... with 26 years experience !

As an update....

I managed to get a good front master brake cylinder the other day.. fitted it yesterday, and the brakes are now working well enough to pass the test..

Sorted out the airbox, and filter, and she's just about ready for testing.. just need to get the Hagon shocks fitted I got a while ago, and sort out the rear tyre, as it's not on the rim right..

Hopefully next week it may be roadworthy... can't wait to have a burn on her..

I have a GS300 MKII and the knob on mine doesn't do anything during the day, even if you turn the lights on manually.. but when it gets dark, the sensor on the dash allows the knob to control the dimmer..

No idea if this is same on the IS models..

Have you tried it at night, or just during the day.. (or covering the sensor if you have one)
