Yes the wheels do fit without problem. Even the brakes could be swapped easily on the 3rd gen GSBut will they fit a GS tho??? I don't wanna buy them only to find out they don't fit any help with that ?? Thankd

I will be coming with the IS-F and an LS430. Would be nice to see some old faces :D
-
To lower the IS-F, my first choice will be the KW Variant 3 coilovers
If you really want to go down the spring only solution, I would go for Swift Sport springs and Tokico HTS shocks
-
Same for me 245/35R219 front and 275/30R19 rear Michelin PS2 on stock wheels for now.
I have been running this setup since October last year without any issue appart from the dealer deflating the tires at the 30k service because the 2.8bars I set were out of the factory recommendations ...

There is no mud flap available for the IS-F

I have just learnt the news on Facebook, it is avery sad day for LOC, John was very involved in the Club and he will be greatly missed. My condoleances to his family

I have had a tracker installed on mine in April, I never had any Battery problems so I would agree with fcfarrar

As for any Toyota the ECU can not be remapped, you need either a piggy back or standalone programmable ECU (Greddy eManage, HKS FCON ...) The easiest xway to gain perfomance on this car is to replace the exhaust and intake.Hey guys, Im new to the Lexus world so thought I would ask a question about tuning.
I have recently bought a 2009 IS-F after owning a Volvo V70R for the last 2 years. I have alway been a bwm man then turned to Volvo but now I have an IS-F (WOW). My Volvo was stage 2 and very finely tuned and did 0-60 in 5 seconds.
I have not timed the IS-F yet but i get different info from people. Some say 0-60 in 4.6 and others say 5.2? Anyone know the correct figure?
I would also like to have my IS-F remapped for more power and fuel consumption (not that the fuel bothers me) but I can not find anyone that can do it. any ideas?
Thanks

On motorway I have been down to 25mpg. The global average so far is 18mpg with 15 miles of traffic jam as daily commute
-
Compared to BMW and MErcedes, the IS-F is undoubtly cheaper to run: cheaper insurance, better mpg. Brake and tyres on a side note are probably the same, be prepared to change before 20k miles if you like to use the right foot :P
All the (little) problems I have had have been taken cre of under warranty. As fjcfarrar, I subscribed to the Extracare warranty/assistance expansion to be safe but I doubt I will have to use it.
Services are almost the same as for the IS250, it just needs more oil.

As above, I emailed BBS to enquire if any "touch-up" paints are available for the dark alloy wheels they make and supply to Lexus for the ISF. I did this via the "contact us" portal on their website. As I expected, they have not responded in any way.
The paint code for the wheels has never been disclosed so no touch up available. There is a close enough Toyota reference that can be used for touchup : 1E3 Phantom Grey
I had mine resprayed under warranty due to corrosion and they did a great job. They have used a 3rd party, the cost was about 200€ a wheel, cheaper for them than a new set...

Tnak you guys, I am toying with the idea of buying an exhaust but not decided yet. Yes I still have the IS200 but only use it for trackdays now
-
Well I finally bought an IS-F to replace the Aristo. It is a fully loaded Obsidian Black. Not the color I was looking for but I had a great deal.
The car is from 08/08 and was previously owned by Lexus France that is ehy it has all the options. It had only covered 4k miles when I bought it in April and it currently has 7k miles
I have already installed the JoeZ intake and waiting for delivery of Hawk HPS pads
Here are some pictures of when I bought it. The rear wheels have been put back the correct way since then.
-
Will there be a club stand this year? Neither TOC nor LOC are on the maps?
-
I should be there at least Saturday and Sunday. Don't know which car I will bring, it will depend how far has gone the registration of the Aristo
-
Yes it is an LS1, I saw it at the PAris Tuning Show this year, it will be an impressive car when finished

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left_hand_drive
As far as I know, left hand drive has been started by Napoleon Bonaparte during the war against the British Empire but Wikipedia says it is only a legend
-
Are you respraying the car white Elliott ? The engine bay looks immaculate :D
-
the only one that does it is http://soarer.tv in Poole
-
Yes it is not a sports car as such but it still feel powerful when the throttle is pushed hard. Chassis wise that has nothing to do with my IS but I did lots of improvements on the chassis of this one :)
For the fuel I know what you mean, it goes quicly when you have fun :)
Anyway, I don't regret my buy, I just hope I will manage to register it in France
-
It had been on autotrader for more than 2 monthes, it comes from JEM
-
keeping it, the bodykit will go and it will have a respray probably Granite Sky as it is its original colour
-
I can't wait to see what Yemgi has planned for this one though :D
I have lots of ideas but it will have to wait until I have it French registered which can take monthes.
Once it is registered, it would like it to have a big brake kit, coilovers, anti roll bars, chassis braces and all that is needed to get around the 400bhp mark.
Exterior will stay almost standard: window tints, TTE front lip and maybe TTE grill

I just realised that it was your profile that says Lexus Model:Aristo V300, RX300, BMW 330D your signature made me thinks it was Gord Sorry, I just need to wake up lol

The US spec Nav systems are different from the Euro spec ones, getting a Europe map DVD would not help as the Satnav unit would not be able to read it. You need the swap the whole unit for a Euro spec one.
That is the same for every Lexus model
