  1. Hey all, Ive got it working in the end. Couldnt find an adapter harness for love nor moeny, so a bit of snipping and choc blocks, its working lovelly. Wired up the 1000w Amp and a subtle install in the boot, changed all 4 door speakers, subs in boot, and tweeters in doors. Also managed to power the PS2 and TV into the amp, so its ana amazing sound all round! Ill take some pics if anyones interested to see... Jim
  2. Hey all, Have the MK2 GS300, and has been running fine until a little accident recently in which the N/S/R tyre was ripped off the rim in a crash. Now every now and again driving along, any road, any revs any gear, the Engine Management Light, and both VSC lights come on, the engine goes into some sort of 'safe mode' and lets me poodle home at about 2000rpm, no more. Anyone have any ideas what could be the problem? Other thing is, it has developed a low idle over the past week, and turning the wheel on a full lock, causes the revs to really drop and the car stalls. I really need help on this one guys as I can be without a car! Jim
  3. Right, well Ive got the new dash plate, and am going to rip the dash out 2mara and rewire the Headunit, and put in my 1000w system! Will post on progress
  4. Hey all, Am new to these forums, having just got hold a MK2 GS300. Im looking at changing the standard double din radio/cassette head unit, gettin a single DIN face plate and puttin in my USB single slot headunit. Just wondering if anyone can tell me when I remove the current headunit, will I need a harness to connect to my new headunit? Its the standard 2 black block type, 1 for power, 1 for speakers. Anyone tried this? Cheers guys, Jim
