  1. Hiya Thanks for your email. Mine is the SE. Thanks for all the info I'll have to have a good look at all the options. Lexus asked me when I had problems with my ignition barrel whether the CD was working properly as they had extended the warranty on it to 5 years. Of course, at the time it was perfect and then when it reached it's 6 birthday it broke! Just typical! Thanks in advance. Catherine
  2. I've had my Lexus since new - October 2000 - had a couple of gliches but they were all rectified. Now my CD player is not working - I thought I'd got away with the problems that all Lexus appear to have but last year it decided it wasn't going to work at all!! I have an iPod which I use through the stereo but would like to know how easy it is to get the unit out. I managed to rescue all the CD's but one and it's playing on my mind!!! Is the unit easy to remove? Would I be able to remove the CD and get the unit working again or is it big money? Thanks in advance. Catherine :duh:
  3. Hi, Catherine here again!!! All sorted with my car now. My dealer pulled the stops out and I got it back two days after the problem occurred. So back to driving my Lex rather than the Saab 95 I had as a hire car!!! Thanks for all the feedback on this. I'm hoping Lexus take this problem seriously now - I did have a fair bit to say on the subject!! After all my car is only 6 weeks out of it's 3 year warranty. Catherine :D
  4. Imagine my dismay when 6 weeks out of warranty and just parked up to do my Christmas shopping, my car won't lock? I get back into the car put the key in the ignition and try to start it - nothing, try to take the key from the lock - stuck! I called out the RAC and they managed to get the key out but the engine wasn't going anywhere. Due to the transmission, the car then had to be flatbedded to the dealer where they tell me it's going to cost £500 to replace, fit, etc. Both the RAC and the flatbed company tell me they have picked up four within the last month with the exact same problem and when I spoke to my dealer he had to admit they had released one last week having had the same problem. Is this a design fault? Are there anymore out there with the same problem. Would really appreciate feedback on this. Thanks everyone. Catherine ;)
  5. Hi I'm new to this site. I'm looking for wind deflectors for my IS200. I know they're around as one (Lexus that is!) zipped past me on the M2 this week and it had wind deflectors attached. Anyone able to help?
