It was all repaired, i used a company called accident exchange, got a replacement car and it was a high quality repair.

On the previous one i also had a radiator pannel (from apr) and it made the car pull worse then without? Did you feel any change?

Also interested in the i-pod adapter got any more info about it? Wiring etc.

I got it from eBay on the cheap mate, came with instructions but it basicly just fits into the back of the head unit with a push on block fitting. It is awesome tho!!!!

I CHANGE SPARE BLACKS WEEK AGO AND AFTER 6 H THE CAR MAKE STRANGE SOUND POWER LOST TOO MAH PATROL. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE GARAGE AND THEY CHECKED RESULT THE 5 SPARK BLACKS IS NOT WORKING AND THEY TOLD ME ITS THE VELVE NEED TO BE CHECKED SO THEY TOLD ME IT WILL COST £730 TO FIX.

I got these repeaters on eBay from New Zealand delivered to the UK within 14 days, check them out there look great fitted.

If you look at my last update you ll see that i ve done the same wi the indicators but for a grand total of a fiver!lol

Used a can of light tinting spay, which is a sillicone based paint.

Also used this to paint the inners of my headlights and its given a sort of dark crome effect i ll get pics up later :D

Gave it a good going over with the clay bar, then some poorboys ss2, followed by a coat of poor boys dark show glaze and finished with some P22 wax

Monday 28/9/09 good for the next meet everyone?

As today is my birthday my lovely misses bought me a set of bonnet gas struts for the Lex, so off to the garage i went to fit my new toys.

What a ball-ache it turned out to be, had to swap the front brackets to give the gas strut some extra clearance over the ABS breaking system, but then the nut holding the gas strut to the top bracket catches the back of the ABS!

So when i open the bonnet there's a slight catchy noise as the nut rubs!

Also had the pack oiut the drivers front bracket to stop it spining when you close the bonnet due to it not fitting flush to the wing!!

i would take pics mate i'll see if i can help sounds like you have done something wrong??????.....when i was at the mini meet me and micro fitted the ones i bought off him and they fitted perfect no catching no rubbing and the bonnet sits higher when opened than with the bonnet stay
