I just purchased my first ever Lexus this Saturday. I bought a 2000 Lexus GS 400. This car is INCREDIBLE. It's fast as sin. The handling is great, the looks are from another planet, and the interior, one word- WOW. The navigation based system is un-real. I was feeling somewhat ballsy and challenged my friend with an $80K 2000 Mercedes E-55 AMG to race last night. We visited our favorite strech of highway and went at it. From a 60 MPH Roll, I was able to fend him off until about 90 MPH, afterward the Autobahn experiment favored the German steed. However, in 1/4 mile action I won once and he beat me twice, both times edging me out at the end, right @ 100 MPH.
I must say, this lexus is unreal. What a value. For $26.5K I'm hanging with the creme del la creme of Greman enigeering. If the Benz has any traction issues off the start, he's got his work cut out for him again Toyota's Finest!!
