    It is way out of warranty. It is a 1993 with 80,000 miles.

    Hi, My Trac light has been turning on a few minutes after starting off even though it wasn't really being called to action. Finally I had it diagnosed and they told me it is a Code 43 - ABS and Trac malfunction. Something about the accumulator leaking and something about a hose and flushing the brakes. The total cost to fix this would be $1,000 USD or 632.524 GBP, which I cannot afford to do at the moment. I have several questions: 1. Should I be driving around with this problem? Could my brakes fail? 2. Should I just press the Trac Off button until I get it fixed? 3. Could I leave it unfixed indefinitely? 4. Should I have Lexus fix it or should I try to find another mechanic who might do it cheaper? Thanks, Victor
