Hi there, I have proudly owned a GS450h since July 2006, it is a fantastic car, had only two problems, one with the wheels all were replaced under warranty due to poor chrome finish and the other is/was noisy on restart if only run for under a minute from cold in the morning, various attempts by Lexus to cure problem but still not 100%. I use either straight from garage or leave running for approx 2-3 mins, this seems to resolve the problem. terryh

Hi welcome to the GS450h group. Have had one for three years, great car, a few teething problems but now ok. Can not not get 47mpg my best has been 37mpg. Cheers Terryh

I dont know if I am the other person in the world who has problems with there hybrid system, but I own a Lexus 450h (Hybrid)Jul. 2006. I have had problems with the hybrid system since the car was new and my problems are still not completely resolved.The problems are noisy on second start after removing from garage, warning lights on instrument panel saying check hybrid system also red warning triangle and yellow engine light will not go off, when this happens I have no power, to resovle I keep re-starting the engine several times before things return to normal.This spoils such a fantastic car. Hi I am new to this. I'm 70+ grey haired guy who treated himself to a new Lexus GS 450h some 18mths ago. I have had problems with the Hybrid System on and off during the last twelve months until recently it went caput all together, I had what Lexus said a new 'Hybrid Water Pump' fitted, upto now all seems OK, otherwise I am delighted with the car, and 30-35 mpg for a 3.5ltr engine suits me. Has anybody else had any problems? Terryh
