Now it's more clear for me that my navigator electronics is 13CY with software VC18. My display is 15CY-type (round menu and round icons). I think that this is not an official system in my car. 15CY operating system and 13CY navigator are obviously incompatible and not tested by Lexus ?? Official 15CY multimedia OS has 15CY -navigator and software VE94102A or VE94100B.

My Multimedia system is 15CY for IS300h . Yes you can get map USB, but where is navigation software VE94100B ? 13CY has VC18 -software. Navigator has internal SD-card . Is navigator software in the same memory as Multimedia System 15CY. Map USB can update software, but can it update VC18 to VE94 ?. I think that navigation software is not in SD-card, but how it works actually ? Has anybody other this VC18 software in 15CY system like I have? It's still unclear, how can you get navigator software VE94102A for 15CY multimedia system. Is it coming from a new USB 15CY with the new map or how? Old software is VC18102A.

Is there a working update of multimedia OS for IS300h (15CY) ? I found a new USB version 15LWENNA-AB01_0003.kwi. How it works or is it accepted in UK/EU ?

My question was: Will this update USB 15Cy update software too from VC18 to VE94 ?. Did you have VC18 software before updating ? Yes my service is waiting info from Lexus. Maybe hardware problems.

If 15CY -navigator has software VC18 and map VC18 how will update go on ? Where is the memory of this software VC18 and will this update process update software to VE94 version with new map data??. This is not clear yet. My Lexus service found serious problems in 15cy OS's communication to navigators flash card memory. They have to wait new instructions from Lexus. This is the 2nd time they have problems with map update in my car.

Yes, VE9410xxx software is for 15cy -navigator. My Lexus service has to install this correct software. 😏

This Lexus website is quite clear . I have not correct software version for 15CY platform. It has to be VE94100B Installation failure by my Lexus service. Lexus mapupdates

I have new information from ToyotaMaps that my old version map data is 13cy. My system display is like in 15cy. Old data has been installed by Lexus official service and maybe there is something done not correctly. System can't find USB when it says but USB back and update will restart. Audio system takes USB control and update will wait USB forever. I think that is a serious software bug by Lexus. Software has not been tested in every possible state.

No, I ordered IS300h update 13cy/15cy. You can get both types of data. I'm still using 15cy because ToyotaMaps has my display type without icon boxes as 15cy and 13cy is with icon boxes . Look at this 15cy Yes I have problems with update. Update program is not reading USB or it's in a endless loop. Only 2 min. left of 100min and it stops. Restarting is not possible.

Map data for 13CY is different as data for 15cy. I got both files from ToyotaMaps. 😏

I'm still wondering , what is Gen9 CY15 and what is Gen 8- 9 CY15 . You can see these displays on ToyotaMaps: Lexus GEN8-9 USB Map Update (2014+) / Map Updates | ToyotaMaps Online You can see same displays and 13CY has boxes on icons.

Hi, Can we find a 13CY or 15CY version somewhere? I think only the menu type is different. 13CY has boxes on the menu. 15CY menu without squares in icons. I am now updating my navigator and having many problems.
