  1. I would suggest (if i`m not stating the obvious) www.lexus.co.uk other wise you could try www.ukcars.co.uk, unfortunatley there is a £10 joining fee for this site but it is very good and has the spec for just about every car and model you can think of.
  2. Hello everyone, just thought I`d post this ad to tell everyone that i just bought a GS300 (05model) with 25k miles on the clock and I`m so happy that i could cry. I remember when the new GS just came out about 3 years ago and the first the i saw it, my jaw dropped and i truned to my friend and said "whaaattt the **** is that !!". Ever since then i have read every article and review about the new GS but never actually been in one ! That was until a few weeks ago when sadly i had to let my 9 year old Toyota Avensis go due to the gearbox breaking (a few months before that the cylinder head gasket blew). So I went for it ! even though i`ll now be eating bread and water for the next five years while i pay it off. I knew the GS was good but once i test drove it, it just blew me away. I feel so smug and superior driving it. I`m so happy I could cry. With more gadgets and toys than the Space Shuttle, (I`m still coming across little delights to keep me amused after 3 weeks !) it really is a in a class of its own. One of my favorite gadgets is when you approch the car at night the ground before you lights up around the car doors. My main point of discussion is this, Why Why Why does so many people go for 5 series BMWs, Mercedes E Class, Audi A6 etc etc when the majestic Lexus dumps on them from such a great height. If anyone is mulling over getting a Lexus dont hesitate like i foolishly did. If youd like to drive around with a large smug grin on your face and feel as if your in a limousine get a Lexus. ps. Lexus didn`t mention that the car was supplied with a free superiority complex.
  3. I currently drive a Toyota Avensis. I am very interested in buying a new Lexus GS300 however there is only one thing that is holding me back this far and that is that, in a couple of reviews i read they say that the new GS can be a little rough and bumpy at slower speeds and also when on un smooth roads, is this true ?. Personally i prefer a nice smooth drive where if you go over a hole in the road you dont notice it type of car. The old Avensis is just that, quiet, smooth as silk and you will only feel the most serious holes in the road should you go over it. Can anyone confirm or deny this. I as yet have not been for a test drive so i`d appreciate if anyone could make some comments regarding the smoothnes of the GS. Thanks.
