Thanks Rob. Will check it out. Been told my rubbers for the engine mounts are gone due to excessive pounding from the previous owner. Think he wanted to be in Fast and the furious. Hopefully all will be good by next week.

When the engine is running on tickover i can hear noise from under the engine. It sounds like an old disi cap thats on its way out. When the engine is revved up the noise stops. Is there something that needs changing or is it just the norm?

Going to have everything checked next week as the missus is going to have the baby in a few weeks. Can't have the car out of action when the time comes. My mum said it sounds like being in a learjet. HAHA! Will be in touch when I have the car checked . Thanks for all help.

Since changing the right lower ball joint i thought everything was going well but now theres a loud creaking noise coming from somewhere around the same area. Mostly when i am going slow or under braking or turning slow. Could it be the suspension or something else. Its so annoying!!!!

Milage is 65000 miles. Its a 2000. Hope it just needs oil. Everything else has been changed and serviced .

Got is200 sport and the gear box seems to be whining as you drive. Sounds more like a gt or rally car at the mo and is quite worrying. Friend told me the layshaft could be going. Anyone have an answer? It doesn't make the noise in fifth just the rest. HELP!

I bought a 2000 is200 sport just before xmas and everything was going fine but now there is a creaking when i'm driving along especially when going over speed bumps. I have replaced the lower ball joint. The noise is a creaking and sometimes knocking. If anyone knows what the problem could be it would be very appreciated
