Nearside top wishbone bushes are both shot. I presume bushes are only available from the States?

I'll check out both theories, although the ball joint theory sounds more likely, as it seems to be coming from the nearside

Just bought my first Lexus, only fault seems to be a clonk from the front end over bumps. Sounds like either shock absorber bushes, or drop arm links. Is this what it's likely to be, or should I be looking somewhere else?

Just bought my first Lexus, a '90 LS 400. Been looking for one for ages [there not exactly commom over here] and fell over one almost by accident. Paid £950 for a 122,000 miler in white, a little rust here and there, but a full service history, and everthing still works. It's so quiet, it's liking driving about in a church! Very impressed indeed.
