  1. first thing to do is check weather your dealer has put mineral or synthetic in at the service.which ever is the case sae 5w30 is the preferred choice see page 266 of your manual. Thanks for the reply. David.
  2. Hi Can anyone tell me the correct engine oil viscosity for a Lexus IS 220d or recommend an oil to use as a top up oil between services. Ideally I would like an oil that is available from either a petrol station or halfords. Thanks David
