  1. Not the best of pics for seeing the fleck and detail, but take a look at the pic below of my Lexus. I had the wheels refurbed in bmw sparkling graphite.

    Well pleased!

edit - just seen that you have had yours done, they look good! Either way the pic may help others :)

  2. Good morning all, just a quick hi as a returnig member. :)

I originally joined this forum a few years ago when I was the owner of a nice is200 sport, well I couldn't stay away and have just purchased a nice Canterbury blue/ivory is220d (mainly for the other half.) I just love the build quality and body shape of the IS!

My plan is to lower the car on rather the eibach or h&r kit and also have the wheels refurbed in anthracite. Which lowering kit is the better of the two as I don't want to completely ruin the ride quality as my 17 month old son is also a regular passenger lol

    All the best,

    Ryan

  3. Just returned to the forum after a few years away.

I am 26 and have just got back into the lexus fold, previously had an is200 sport around 5 years ago & I have just purchased a 58 plate Canterbury blue is220d. :)

    So I guess I was 21 when I originally bought a lexus!

  4. Halfords 3 bike high mount cycle carrier will fit on. Its not the best system as you can't put two of the straps as high as i would like. Saying that i used one to take two bikes to fort william and back with no major issues. It also doesn't affect the lights ot plate.

Personally if you can afford it go for a roof rack mounted set up.

Thanks alot, i'll check that out tonight after work this evening. :)

  5. Good day everybody. I'm interested to know what rack will fit my IS200 Sport (with lip spoiler.) I would like it to hold two adult bikes, and I don't want one that uses the towbar or covers my standard number plate, if possible! I did a quick search and nothing much came up.

    Thanks.

  6. Thanks Chris, like you say they look much darker in some light.

Rig-pig, that's exactly what I am after, so the satin finish it is, cheers guys. The problem is they all look different in certain lighting on different cars! I'll order the satin lights tomorrow, cheers again.

  7. ok you've ordered the dark chrome part numbers ?

on the end of the box the boxes are labels approx 3"x 2" and have part numbers on, what are the numbers ?

looking at the back of the new lamp, where the bulbs fit is the plastic grey or black ?

Yes I ordered the dark chrome as they looked the darkest. I don't have the boxes to hand, but i'm 99% sure they state the same as I ordered, The back of the lamps are black.

    Thanks, Rye

  8. Chris, I'm after the ones in Andy-r's picture above. Which ones are those please?

    I ordered...

    81551-53012-B1

    81561-53012-B1

going by what your thread states, the picture with them, they look smoked/black. The ones I received look exactly like the ones I have already, the standard chrome ones, yet the boxes stated the above part numbers.

    81551-53012-B0

    81561-53012-B0

    So something is not right.

I wan't the darkest rear lights that lexus ever made for the IS200, Andy's car has them, plenty I see driving about do also.

    I appreciate your help!

    Thanks

  9. Is there anybody here who had the smoked rears on there is200 from new? if so can you please give me your reg number as lexus parts apparently need this to locate the exact parts.

Or again, if anybody knows the model to the smoked rears shown above, I would appreciate it! This is starting to annoy me now, haha. :tsktsk: Surely one of you guys must know.

    Cheers, Rye
