  1. Hi there,

I need to spray (or actually get my old man to spray, he's got access to proper spray guns etc) a set of eyebrows.

My question is - I have a tin of touch up paint in the boot which was there when I purchased the car - previous buyer only used it once (thankfully as did an awful job) could this be used in a spray gun and would it need to be thinned or just used out of the tin?

Also I think the eyebrows need to be given an primer coat, on a platinum ice finish I guess a white primer is needed?

    Many thanks

  2. So bloody wrong, my previous car (customised BMW - I know sorry) was keyed at a mates house. Did bonnet all round to boot, absolute gits but in the local paper a couple of days later someone down the road saw a couple of nippers doing his car same night and was nicked after giving one of them a bit of a beating. Couldn't help but laugh, felt sorry for the bloke who got caught but think he got off.

  3. Products used:

Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo (2 bucket method and a Meguiars wash mit) - Easy stuff, love that mit.

    Blade, then microfibre dry

Meguiars Quik clay + Detailer Spray (amazing amount of cr#p lifted off, took a while though - first time ever used a clay)

Sonus SFX-1 Restore Polish (on a couple of minor spots, needs a lot of elbow grease but happy with result)

Sonus SFX-2 Enhance Polish (two coats used, again make sure it doesn't start to dry out)

Sonus SFX-3 Final Finish Polish (didn't notice that much of a difference with this but just got that mirror finish a bit sharper I think)

Meguiars Gold Class Liquid Wax (seal and smile - very easy to apply)

    Results:

First time I had used the clay, really impressed as always thought the car looked pretty clean after even a simple wash, loads more came off though.

The Sonus polishes work well but very hard work, really think a machine polisher would be a major help.
