I am a new IS 220d owner and bought a 06 model with only 6k on the clock. I was only getting 32 to the gallon including a steady run from Derby to Newcastle.
I registered my concern with the Dealer who changed the 5th injector, which made little difference, they eventually agreed to exchange the vehicle.
Unfortunately I have had to buy a newer model at an extra cost just to get the sort of consumption detailed in the promotion material.
The dealer has been good but Lexus have shown no support to me or the dealer. I have spoken to customer services who said the fuel figs. were only indicative!
That there was northing they could or would do! So much for Lexus legendary customer service!
