tbh i've had the car slide with trc on anyways, I only really use trc if it's icy or heavy rain.

For reliability i dont think the M3 would last the test of time like the IS-F.

Same power but 1litre difference.

I think if the IS-F 5.0 is anything like the old LS400 V8's then IS-F's will still be going strong at 300k miles on their original engines.

If the new M3 is anything like the old M3's then owners can expect to need a new engine or at least serious repairs every 60k miles.

I almost bought an E36 M3 Cab at the beginning of the year, but the variable valve timing system is just simply pony. Its something that is gauranteed to fail at one point in the future.

If i had the money i wouldnt buy the IS-F, the M3 or the C63 AMG. I'd spend half the money and have a Vauxhall VXR8 Supersport any day of the week.

Simple supercharged large displacement 533bhp through a 6 speed manual to the rear. With the £30k i've saved i'd tune it up to an even 600bhp and probably still have £29k left over to go towards my mortgage

All i'd do is put some Holden Badges on it :D

agreed :) although I would get the bathhurst edition and use the spare cash in respraying it without the stupid racing stripes :)

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if the pads are squealing it's not because whoever changed the pads threw away the anti-squeal shims is it ?

Me and Sam did my brakes so we defo didn't throw away the shims :)

Hi guys just a quick question,

anyone who is using the mintex brake discs+pads notice that they squeak a lot under light breaking? mine are still fairly new and do squeak quite a bit

how have I missed this? nath it's stunning mate absolute work of art think you should flush the number plate though like Sam.

sorry to jump in but just wanted to double check - the Hotchki's ARB's ive found are IS300 will they fit the Is200 ok?

Think it's one of those things I'll like for a few weeks then realise what a horrible mistake i've made and revert back :)

Scott_R has these on his Lex they are not RHD but he had them converted but it did take a fair amount of work iirc, there are a few is200/300's on cardomain with those gatling gun style headlights they look stunning imo.

Here's one - CLICK ME I love this Lex it's stunning :) shows those projector headlights off really well too (Custom IS300 JDM Headlamps with Oracle Halos and Q45 Retrofit Projectors )

Mate, i found them on eBay for 1bout 250 including shipping which is quite good. Now, I will need to convince my wife that "we need them".

G10 finishing compound usually does the trick too :)

why not look at a 1G-GTE conversion or 3S-GTE? conversions are going to be your best bet unless you can find a TTE charger in which case you should be able to get between 200-250 depending on other mods ontop.
