Just to introduce myself, I lived in the UK previously between 2005-2010 and noticed that the LS400 going very cheaply despite a fantastic reputation. I then returned to live in Malaysia.
It just so happened I saw one for sale in May this year for a good price over here (cars are 2-3x UK prices over here due to import duties) and bought it.
It's a UK-spec (speedometer in miles and right-hand drive) 1991 LS400. Absolutely cracking car, I've absolutely enjoyed driving it and must have clocked near 2000 miles in these 2 months.
Now that I'm in love with it, I'd like to restore it to it's former glory. Parts are easily enough to obtain from ebay and the US.
However, I'm searching for the workshop and wiring manual for the right-hand drive model. I've seen quite a number of workshop manuals in the US-version ebay but firstly they seem quite expensive and secondly I'm afraid the information will be different for left-hand drive cars.
If you could point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful.
