ive filled up 69.26 litres once (as you can see it scarred for life) resorted to doing 40 on a national speed limit A road so i cud get to a petrol station. got overtaken by grannies!!! ive pushed my luck in my last car and actually run out so it wasnt worth the risking doing normal speeds!

i was having a look at the prolex website and i was wondering...

not much has been said about the HKS Legamax exhaust on the forum, has anyone got one for their IS?

If so whats the sound like, loud and obtrusive (boy racer) or deep and bassy?

i went for these in white for my red calipers, really good quality decals and theyre bigger than some of the others on ebay

also the fact that the decals are curved make them look better on the car imo. i think theyre the same decals from the second post

I saw those when I was looking, but was put off by him trying the old postage rip-off trick, no need to send recorded. :tsktsk:

Mine is running a Janspeed at the moment, it is not at all loud but fits perfectly and IMHO looks good and better than standard, I fitted it using a trolley jack, axle stands and a socket set on my back drive very easy fit. It hasn't been on a dyno so no idea as to the BHP improvement but there was certainly a slight increase in throttle response but only really noticeable when a K&N was fitted and ECU reset.

any chance of a few pics?

i know you said its not at all loud but is there any change at all in sound, eg: volume and tone wise?

i was considering a janspeed, raising the money as we speak infact.

can u get back to us on how it looks and sounds once you fit it?

hey guys the exhaust i first posted says its for the is300, does that mean it wont fit on a 200?

Shipping costs might be pretty hefty. And you have to pay import VAT as well. Could be costly.

is that for the one i posted or the second one that Hitnrun posted?

also if it is for mine wht would that push the total price up to? Might not be worth it in the end...

i have a bad feeling (well good feeling really) that i am going to end up buying this exhaust, parthiban you said youve heard of HP Racing, have you heard good things or bad.

cheap, can be made quieter or louder, did i mention cheap? do you reckon there will be a power gain at all, or a loss even, like on the powerflow?

the biggest thing that is putting me off is the fact that its quite cheap... do you think there is any quality in the product for that kind of price?

how far out are we talking? enough to look unsightly?

would it fit in the oem non sport bumper cut out (if that makes any sense)

i know the video has sound but what does it sound like outside the car, i usually leave 4 work quite early in the morning and come from from mates houses quite late, dont wanna disturb the neighbours too much cos they moaners.

need something almost silent at low revs and as loud as can go at high revs

1)got the 1 sorted vti showed me, should arrive soon

2)the bodyshop guy said hes got some paint left over for my car from a recent scuff i had that he resprayed, so he'll do it for free!

again i have to say thanks alot guys!

just asked the body shop guy next to my mechanic,he said 15-20 max, maybe even less, he wants to see it before he gives me a certain price.

thats not bad at all, near enough half the price they wanted for a sprayed one!

just found this on the bay....

just wanted to know if anyone has one of these and would you recommend it or not, its not bad for the price and it'll be painted already, really wanted a trd one but can not find it anywhere for a reasonable price (lexus dealerships want 260 or something ridiculous and it will just be primed)
