Also the noise comes in at 20 mph all the way to 60-70mph after that I cant hear it. Also if the pitch does not change when driving in a s pattern what will that mean. Thanks again.

Thanks for the help guys, Will test driving in an S pattern to see if there is a change in the pitch. The humming noise is constant and its almost like you can feel something under you feet. If it is the bearings is there any way of telling that they need replacing by looking at them or do you need to changed ? Could it be caused by the exhaust system ? Thanks again in advance.

I have a W Reg GS 300, I have only had the car a month and very pleased with it, But as soon as you hit 20 mph I can hear a humming / Droning noise which seems to be coming from the front of the car. It has only done 43K miles so dont think its bearing noise or tyres as these have all been replaced. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so how do you fix it. Many thanks in advance
