Hello, To introduce myself I am a new member who has registered in advance of buying my first GS300. I will be paying around £1500 - £1800 max (probably private) and looking at 1998 onwards as I really like that model. Is there anything I should be looking for that is extremely expensive to replace so to check for not damaged etc? Can anyone give me realistic mpg figures for round town and on a good run? Does anyone have a handle on how much VED will go up on post 2001 cars as ther are a few within my price range? I realise i'm looking at 100 to 170K (highest i've seen to date) is there any top mileage even with FSH that is to be avoided? Any pointers gratefully received. Thanks Ian
