JCs reviews are mostly great but sometimes he just hates the new kid on the block. for example the Nissan GTR which has been hailed as a giant killer and he says it himself but somehow he manages to bad mouth it. he is very inconsistant in his views, while he say that the IS-F is too much hard work, in his other reviews he describes the same flaw as a feature that complements the driver by allowing him to do the work. its like he hates japanese cars or even the japanese. also he says that the IS-F is a dorks car because its full of technology, im sorry, isnt the M3 the same? i mean he has mocked the fact that there are seven settings for the gear ferocity on a M3. the IS-F has all the technology but you dont have to fiddle around with the settings a day before your journey to get it just right. like he said the car companies are the experts so they should set it up. when he says that the car has too many gear and they keep changing, it sounds to me like he cant keep right foot still. all i have to say about JC is if its not british or made somewhere near britain than hes not gonna like it.

Fifth gear isnt Top Gear :P

lexus IS-F is going to be on top gear!! they'all be pitting it againgst the BMW M3. iwonder what their view is going to be on the first ever track performance lexus.

thanks for the cheer up :) sometimes you forget what you have, i guess i better enjoy it and stop complaining. what ever little flaws they have, lexus and the LS are still the best.

it would be ok if there was a revision after a considerable time had passed since the car was released because you cant rele stop progress to keep up with the latest technology/competition as you said about the bluetooth, but memory function for the seats isnt that much of a big deal that they had to wait a year and the put it on the car and its not like that had to develop the technology and test or anything, all they had to do was get another drivers door remove some electric window buttons and the bolt it on the passenger side. i know what you said is completely true but i feel a bit short-changed in a way.

i am rele ****** off with lexus!!! i just heard that the 2009 LS (ls460 (and AWD) and ls600h) will be getting front passenger seat memory function!! it hasnt even been a year that ive had the LS600h and the car has been only on sale for just over a year and theres already revisions, which rele takes the *****. i dont see why the cars werent equipped with them in the first place. i know im just making a big deal for something so little but with a luxury car like this you want all the little bits and pieces because thats what makes the difference......Ahh!!

maybe your car does bring itself down to standstill and the only reason you needed to intervene was because of rapid deceleration or maybe im wrong. turn it on in stop and go traffic and see if it works.

just hold the volume down button on the steering wheel until the volume goes to zero. i think there might even be a voice command to mute the audio but i havent had the time to try it out.

sorry for the late reply, been busy. yes my car does come to a full stop and to get it going again i just push the cruise control stick up (RESUME). i use it in traffic, come in real handy especially in slow moving traffic. yea you should ask about it, it might be available on your car. i finally got an email back saying that the reason the ls600h doesnt have LKA is due to a conflict with the LED headlights apparently it doesnt have infrared headlamps but i looked in the manual and it clearly shows that the car has them, oh well. hope this helps. its a uk version. it is a shame that the car doesnt have LKA but there are plenty of other features to keep me occupied :) . i was wondering does your cruise control come with full speed following function where the car will come to a complete stop by itself. i saw your youtube video and was just wondering because you had to take back control when the car was slowing down at the end. thanks im enjoying it very much!!

yea maybe its because of the AWD. fuel economy is decent. on long motorway journeys it averages 30mpg got it to 31mpg once. city between 22-24 mpg. the engine turns on and off quite a lot so most of the time it is freakily quiet. but if you give it the beans the MPG does drops quite a bit.

i bought a ls600h it has the radar cruise control but no lane keep assist. i was peed off that it didn't have it and was wondering why its not available on the ls600h, ive asked lexus but they havent replied. everything else is perfect on the car smoothest and quietest ride ever!!
