I have this too. Ive seen it mentioned here before and its commonly a pivot bar thats exposed under the car that links the pedal and the gearbox. Apparently can be greased with relative ease.

do you know where exactly this pivot bar is located?

ive recently bought a lexus is200 and ive notice that the sump is touching on the subrame..i can see where some1 had fittetd a spacer at the bottom of the mount but it still dosnt rise the sump from the subrame.. i was wondering if anyone knows if theres a differents between the manual and auto engine mounts?
