i bought mine about week ago, and dont feel sorry at all. My dad diseble, so tax sorted I would say not really bad on fuel, on £30 i did 190 miles, 130 of them motorway miles (but sat in heavy traffic for 3hours), its really nice car, and i dont think i will sell it for while. My car is 9 years old, and i can see people in much expencive and newer cars still giving u that jelous look. I love it.

Thanks guys, i will leave it. No worrys. One more question, where is light in boot? Does it have light in boot? I checked, and cant see one. Usually dealers remove bulbs, to keep boot open, but this one doesnt have anything.

do you know good garage i donny who understands in Lexus and not expencive on? I want to take her for health check, get cambelt checked, in service book says it has been done on 87000 miles, kinda looks bit dodgy. Its got garage stamp and on top written by hand cambelt changed as well. Another thing it blows very hot air from exhaust, i mean very hot i never had like this in my other cars. Just wonder is it normal.

Hi guys few more question, i never had that before in my other cars. If i keep my hand close to exhaust tip, it comes from exhaust very hot air, i mean very hot. Another issue, under my feet i can feel sometimes heat as well, first i thought its because i am very excited, but now i am thinking maybe some to do with exhaust. Is it normal guys. Thanks

You will have to live without the mp3's for now sadly but when you get the dreaded error 3 it will be an excuse to buy a new aftermarket HU of your choice :D As i said, the head unit was replaced recently by Lexus, and cost previous owner £450. So i think it still under waranty. Anyway i have my old head unit on stand by.

Hi guys, 2 days to pick my car up from today. I cant even sleep on night, i never been so excited. Couple question about cd player. The car i bought, previous owner fitted original lexus cd/cassete player, which cost £450 from main dealer. What i want to know, will this unit play mp3 cds. I really dont want to replace headunit - i think its sound awesome, but really will miss mp3's. Is any other way to make cd player mp3 compatible. Another question, how difficult to replace gear knob, on my car its scratched all over. I cant belive how good Lexus cars are. I am now driving for 5 years, and owned allready 10 cars from latest Volvos to BMW, and every time when i buy new car i join owners forums. In every forums you can see numbers of faults, i would say seriuos faults people complaining. In this forum i spent hours now, and could not find any serious fault at all. The only thing is worrys me is MPG, but anyway if it goes be bad, will pack in smoking, or will get rid of girlfriend

Hi guys, i am so happy :D Today i bought my first Lexus IS200, it on Vreg done 101000 miles full service history, looks so clean and tidy. Paid £2800 from from Ford dealer. I tell you guys i did owned quite a lot cars even newer than Lexus, like BMW, Volvo but never felt so exided like now. So here some questions. 1. How is like on petrol? What mpg you get guys? My most driving around town. 2. How reliable is Lexus? I read reviews and i know that its very reliable car, but any way what i have to look after in this age of car? 3. Is it expencive to service it? What time is timing belt is due to service? Thanks guys.
