Hi all... ive got a problem with my phone and MM setup in my 07 220D SE..conection is fine and works as it should..however it seems 90% of the time i make a call the person on the other end can hardly hear me (dispite talking at the top of my voice) the remaining 10% of the time people comment on how clear/loud im coming across!!... i have a blackberry curve 8310 howevver i also have a nokia N95 that seems to exibit the same symptoms... any ideas?.. i found that yesterday also, i didnt put 2+2 together tho and link it do diesel priming...but it makes sence now... on derv's afer the fuel has completely ran out (including the fuel filter being completely drained) the fuel pump doesnt have enough 'suction' to suck the new fresh fuel up to the engine from the tank.. older cars have manual pumps (under bonet - pump my hand) that 'prime' the fuel system filling the fuel lines and fuel filter so the car can then restart....this must do the same but i guess a little added electric syphon pump or something...nice idea lexus! :) S

Hi All... have been driving my IS 220d now for a few days and im impressed so far... the only annoyance is with the that as soon as the vehicle is moving most of the functions of the sat nav programing or phone settings etc can not be changed....im guessing its for saftey but is annoying as hell...especially if your co-pilot is the one pressing the buttons.. can it be disabled??...its a pain in the ***** finding somewhere to pull over to then let the OH enter the address in to sat nav! .......also...sat nav lady (who i have started to call m'lady due to her jolly wel spoken english accent! ) only comes out of the drivers side front speaker...as does the phone calls...can this be tweaked to come out of all the speakers? cheers Sparkz

got it!... not really had chance to play yet...but will be soon.. any recomendations on what to tweak and what to leave alone?... so many toys..so little time!

Hi All....quick intro as ive just signed up.... ill be picking my 2007 IS220d up on weds...i went for the SE with media pack in the end after a month or so of looking for one with all the goodies i wanted (black leather, media and silver)...i found plent of 'nearlys' but glad i held out for this one.....altho ive gotta admit, i was getting a bit worried as the current car is due back to the lease company towards the end of the month! im coming out of a GT TDI golf...so loads more goodies to play with now This is my 1st lexus....so ill be having a mooch about to pick up some info from you guys im sure.
