  1. Thanks for your response Yes the leak looks to be coming from the rigid pipe which runs along the bottom of the radiator bay, so that is quite easily replaceable is it? Do you know where I can get a new one and how I go about replacing it, thanks.
  2. Today I noticed that there was something leaking from the underside of my IS200 SE near the front where the radiator is, I inspected it and it was a browny/orange colour. Upon starting the car and driving it I found that my power steering had completely gone and the steering was really stiff. I stopped again and looked at the power steering fluid tank and it was completely empty, I then followed the tubes which carry it away/to the tank and found that where the tube passes underneath the radiator fluid had leaked hence the leaking I saw earlier on. I can't think of any reason for this suddenly happening, I have not hit anything or driven recklessly or anything, it is most puzzling. What I want to know (and I'm not sure I want to know the answer to this one!) is : has my power steering completely gone or is it fixable, i.e. does the tube need replacing or can I just replace the fluid. Thanks in advance for any help.
  3. Yeah, I couldn't see anything, i'll have a closer look tomorrow.
  4. I was driving my IS200 SE the other day when suddenly my engine started to sound really throaty, whenever I applied the accelerator the 'throatiness' increased, I have not experienced a loss in power or any other side-effects of this noise but now my car sounds like it's been chavved - up ! Its all slightly annoying as I have just had an MOT. Could this be a hole in my exhaust? Or something else? Thanks in advance.
