  2. Hello to everyone, I joined this forum for some info about the p code 0141 o2 sensor heater circut malfunction.could not find a proper fix,the original probe had the heater loop open circut.so a universal probe was purchased on ebay for £17.50. When fitted the same code re-appeared and the Engine Management Light came back on. On further investigation I discovered that the replacement sensor had a heater resistance of 4.5 ohms and the original 14.5 ohms by testing another working probe on the car . On further investigation I discovered that if the probe draws less than 20 mA or more tham 2000mA it brings the management light on and code P0141. This is very miss-leading as you think that there is still a problem. The aftermarket probe draws more than 2 amps bringing the light on. This was fixed by adding a 10 ohm resistor in series with the heater circut. Job Done! Hope this helps someone out there.
