Son owns a 2004 (53 plate) IS200 LE in Kodiak Sky that he is looking to sell. It's done 110K - full service history and cambelt done at approx 75K. Still runs/drives well but a bit rough around the edges in that the wheels need a refurb and there are some (minor) scratches on the bumpers. He's only getting offered about £1K as a part exchange. Would there be a market for it if he tried to sell privately, and what sort of price should he be asking. Please Don't turn this into a for-sale thread or it will be removed, Selling on the forums is reserved for paid members.Hope you understand.

Son has a 2004 IS200 LE in Granite Sky with colour coded heated door mirrors. The glass in the nearside mirror has cracked and degraded due to water ingress. Can the glass be replaced or does it have to be a whole unit. Have seen replacement mirror glass on Amazon for around £15 but not sure if this will do the trick. Any advice most welcome :))

Job done - the guy was able to do him a 3-button key and two spares. Also gave us a chip to use if we can source another transponder to make up another 3 button key.

Think we may be sorted - have been put me onto a guy who can sort us with a new set of keys/transponder and reprogramme the system for £350. Apparently he is known to the local Lexus dealer but obviously they would be looking to charge top wack every time. Will report backwhen the job is done

Hi - my son owns a 2003 "53" plate is200 LE. He has managed to lose BOTH keys. He had previously broken a key and still has the blade of the original key, but we no longer have any transponders etc with which to disable the alarm. Lexus are quoting him up to 2K to provide replacements. Does anybody know if it is possible to get around this at all? Any suggestions gratefully received as the bank of mum and dad is likley to take ahammering otherwise!!

Hi all. My lad is the proud owner of a 2004 (53 plate) IS200 with bought in July with 45K on the clock in Kodiak Sky metallic (very nice!). I'm jealous as hell having to drive my diesel Avensis. The warning light for the self levelling headlights has started staying on and he's been quoted £300 plus labour from Liverpool Lexus to replace the part which I understand is a sensor on the suspension. I wondered if anybody knows the part number or where I might source the part? Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
