hi all ive managed to source a genuine lexus towbar for my is200 and wonderd if anyone knows of a link that would help me fit it at all..any help appreciated thanks

does anyone know where i can get a set of lexus six spoke alloys for the is200 i think they come with the lexus styling kit...any help appreciated thanks

hi all the bonnet support clip on the underside of my bonnet has broken(99 is200) and i wonderd if anyone knows of one either new or secondhand ive tried lexus but no luck.any help appreciated thanks

run dunlop sport 2000a on mine got them 2 weeks ago £330 fitted for all four..

Not sure they really have a name, they were called the styling kit alloys to begin with, then later I think they were called the 18" aero alloys I believe. Either way if you're trying to get them from a dealer they should know what you're talking about.

Keep an eye out on ebay, sets do pop up now and then.

hi all im after the name of the 6 spoke lexus alloys that are simular to the standard is200 wheels ie 99/2000 but without the gaps in the spokes..i believe these come with the sport pack/kit or something...also can someone tell me if these are a rare alloy to find if not where would be the best place to look for a set..thanks in advance

hi all can anyone help please..im after a origional is200 w reg 6 cd stereo must be in good working order and sensible price please must be a bottom loading cd ....would consider another double din stereo too,any help much appreciated thanks

hi all i really want to replace my lexus is200 stereo with another as the dreaded error3 has come up,if possible id like to replace it with another of the same as i feel the sound quality is pretty good,the question is mine has a tape deck at the top and cd at the bottom but searching eBay i can only find them the other way round if you get my drift..and wondered if these are still compatible with the wires i have in place

It's knackered mate, get an aftermarket replacement.

You could try fixing it but it'll probably just go wrong again in the near future. Similarly if you buy a replacement OEM unit it'll only be a matter of time before it goes ERR3 again.

I'm in exactly the same position as you, currently there's a big hole in my dash where my head unit used to be.

If you buy a new aftermarket unit it'll at least come with a full warranty.

Check the Audio/Video forum for details of how to connect up an aftermarket unit, fascia, cables etc.

hi all,ive had the dredded error3 up on my lex sport 99 stereo so i assume its now shot or can it be fixed?if its shot can someone please tell me the best place to start looking for a second hand one or if someone on here has one for sale that would be even better

ive got reversing sensors fitted on my is200 sport but get frustrated by the reverse beeping over the top of the sensor beep if you get my drift , so basicaly wondered if the beeping you get when selecting reverse can be deactivated leaving just the reversing sensor beeping ie like a bmw m sport and most others i think

sorry steve yes the origional 17 inch sport alloys,i did think of upgrading them and putting 18s on but dont know if that would cause any trouble

im looking to replace two front alloys on my lexus and wondered if someone has any to sell or if someone can let me know the best price they have found them for,the best deal i can get at the moment is 2 refurbs fitted etc for 155

after taking alot of care over my alloys from new i swerved to advoid a cat today and caught the kerb...gutted or what,is there anyone local to hampshire/berks etc that anyone can reccomend to repair it or even know of a decent set being sold somewhere...any help appreciated

with these new brighter bulbs surley thats got to be almost like driving with your lights on full beam all the time?

hi all,after having my lexus is200 sport serviced it was suggested that maybe i should steam clean the engine although its only dusty not oily etc is this a wise thing to do and if so what precautions should be taken,otherwise ill simply clean it by hand,thanks in advance
